The New Orleans Branch annually recognizes its distinguished members for their commitment to excellence. The awards committee evaluates nominated members in each of the categories below. Distinguished members are evaluated on their involvement in ASCE, service to advance the civil engineering profession, service to the community outside of the field of engineering, technical accomplishment and other evidence of merit or character. Award recipients for each of the categories below are also nominated to the Louisiana Section for their respective award, except for the president's medal.
