ASCE New Orleans Branch Members & Subscribers: On May 26, we sent an email to you regarding the status of the UNO Engineering Program. Again, we kindly ask that you please contact your state representatives to show your support for this program. We ask that everyone who feels strongly that our profession and community needs a viable, sustainable, accredited Civil and Environmental Engineering Department take the time to communicate this need to your elected representatives today. Some other items we have ongoing in the branch include: 2010 Louisiana Civil Engineering Conference and Show Call for Speakers - Our Fall Conference is kicking off with the annual call for speakers. A seperate email was sent out previously with the registration form. Addtionally, registration for the confrerence is now open.
