Dear American Concrete Institute supporter.

The Louisiana Chapter of the ACI (American Concrete Institute) has again been chosen to be the host for the International ACI Fall Convention during the week of November 8-12, 2009 at the Marriott Hotel in New Orleans.  The Convention theme is “Spice Up Your Concrete”. 

Previously scheduled for November 2005, Hurricane Katrina canceled the 2005 Fall Convention.  With rebuilding efforts continuing in this great southern city, we hope that you will assist us in showing the concrete community the spirit that still resides in this city.

We anticipate that approximately 1,600 concrete professionals from around the world will come to this convention to attend the technical sessions and participate in technical committee work, which results in recommended practices and specifications for all aspects of concrete material and construction practices.

We need your help to make this convention a success and contribute to the continued progress of the concrete industry.  Our Chapter’s financial commitment to host the convention is about $75,000.  We know and trust that you will help us to meet our obligation by pledging a donation to the Chapter. 

In return for your generous support, your company name will be featured in the convention program and prominently displayed on our contribution recognition boards at the convention as well as publicized in trade journals.
